More than 100 investors and businesspeople from the drone manufacturing and services industries attended the conference, and they all spoke about the exciting prospects the state presents. The drone city will function as a holistic ecosystem for manufacturing, testing, research, maintenance, and development - all under one roof, Dinesh Kumar added, highlighting Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's goal. In addition to creating the largest common drone testing facility in the world, the project is anticipated to create about 40,000 jobs.
Advancing the Drone Industry in India
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, the founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, emphasised the company's support for the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra," a campaign that advances national development, during the meeting. Garuda Aerospace's efforts to the 'Namo Drone Didi' initiative, which uses drone technology to empower rural women, were also discussed.
The company's aspirations for growth and worldwide competitiveness were further supported by its quick expansion throughout India and into international markets. With its expanding presence in disaster relief, defence, infrastructure, and agriculture, Garuda Aerospace is ideally positioned to spearhead the next wave of drone technology developments.
Innovation and Future Growth
'Drone City' by Garuda Aerospace will be a centre of innovation, attracting top talent, promoting cutting-edge research, and advancing drone technology in India.
The Previously mentioned investment demonstrates our steadfast dedication to transforming the drone sector both domestically and internationally. With the help of drone technology, we hope to address important societal issues and serve as a centre for innovative research in the Drone City. Our goals of going worldwide, getting ready for an IPO, and creating cutting-edge drone solutions are all in line with this," Agnishwar Jayaprakash stated.
Regulatory Adherence and International Business Prospects
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted Garuda Aerospace six approvals, including Type Certification and RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organisation) accreditations. These certifications support its industry leadership in drones and guarantee adherence to legal requirements, allowing drone technology to be used responsibly. This statement coincides with efforts by governments across the globe, including the US, to diversify their drone supply chains and lessen reliance on drones made in China. India is becoming a formidable alternative in the worldwide market thanks to its growing proficiency in drone innovation and manufacture.
